What does Gwen Jorgensen eat to fuel her triathlon training and keep her full, satisfied and never bored? Take a wild guess.
Meet Gwen
Gwen Jorgensen has her goals set on returning to the worldwide triathlon stage this summer and is kicking her training into high gear. Her career spans over a decade of triathlon and marathon competitions, earning her medals and records across international stages in over a dozen countries. Along the way, she’s grown her family with her husband and former pro-athlete Patrick to include two sons, Stanley and George!
She’s the type of competitor who contains multitudes, and her diet needs to reflect her ambitions and nutritional needs. She relies on high-quality, nutrient-dense proteins — and wild-caught seafood is a key part of her meal plan. Wild-caught seafood is lean, protein-rich, full of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and is loaded with antioxidants - perfect for keeping Gwen fueled for peak performance.
What does a world champion triathlete and mother eat for dinner?
On a weekly rotation in her house, Gwen’s favorites include wild salmon, weathervane scallops and spot prawns. Each packs flavor and protein in every bite. Gwen’s husband and the family’s top chef, Patrick, has been perfecting his seafood cooking to keep the entire family excited about their menus. He loves to use simple ingredients like olive oil, lemon and fresh herbs, and also knows his way around a seafood taco.
